Teacher

Ms. Juma
I am dedicated to the empowerment of every child. I believe teaching that engages the whole child and employs beautiful and dignified means, not only uplifts the student, but also his family and our community as a whole.
My husband and I have lived in the SF Bay Area since 2010, and our children have grown up in the MCC community. I have over 20 years of teaching experience, including in private secular and Islamic schools. Alhamdulillah, I've also successfully homeschooled multiple students from preK to grade 10 using the Montessori method.
I am looking forward to reopening Amanah, and to sharing my teaching experience and my love for learning with other families and their children.
